Job SummaryVacancy for a Teaching Assistant - Fixed Term Contract, until 31 August 2024. Grade C £17,178 - £17,463 per annum, pro –rated, subject to job evaluation. (£23,500 - £23,893 Full time Equivalent) 32.5 hours per week 39 weeks per year (Term-time plus one week) Starting as soon as possible Initially a fixed term contract of two terms - up to 31 August 2024. Closing Date: Friday 08 December 2023 at noon. Interview date: Week commencing 11 December 2023. If we receive sufficient applicants of a high calibre, we may bring the closing date forward. You will need to have good maths and English subject knowledge, be well organised and firm, but fun! We hope the post holder will be flexible to work across the Primary age range. We can offer you a supportive environment with on-going CPD and a forward looking school. Applicants should include information about any experience they have within education as well as any other work environment, and should also state what they feel they could bring to the post, along with their future aspirations. You will need to work across Monday to Friday each week, and will be required to attend work during term time, plus an additional week to incorporate training days at the Academy.
Skills & ExperienceTeaching Assistant You will be qualified to Level 2 in English and Maths (GCSE A-C or equivalent) and previous similar experience would be an advantage.
