Mr McDonald has been teaching since completing a PGCE at the University of Bedfordshire in July 2008.

He has experience of teaching with a variety of ages, having spent seven years working in middle schools in Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds teaching pupils in years five to eight as well as teaching for seven year in primary education, teaching computing to pupils from year one to year six as well as teaching in Upper Key Stage Two.

He joined Glade Academy in September 2019.
